Do you suffer from a sore, tired back? Feel like your belly is a little jelly? Want to look better and feel stronger? Pilates is a class to strengthen your midsection (core) in order to protect and stabilize the lower back. Whatever your age, gender, body type or fitness level; whether you are training for an athletic event, recovering from an injury/ illness, or just want to “get in shape”, Pilates is a safe and effective whole body workout. Pilates will teach you body awareness, improve posture and challenge your body.

Join me for this mixed ability class. Challenge your coordination, stamina, endurance and core strength. Pilates is excellent for sports people too. Most athletes forget to cross train, not realising that breathing, flexibility, stability, strength and conditioning play an integral role in boosting any athletic performance. Our bodies were built to move in all directions. Change up your training and learn to control your body on a deeper level. Each week we use different equipment to challenge not just our bodies but our minds too. Pilates is also helpful for injury prevention and rehabilitation too. Moves can easily be modified to ensure your body is benefiting from class. No matter what your chosen sport is, whether you play football, run marathons, cycle or do triathlons, Pilates will challenge you.
