About Sinéad

Having suffered a dislocated hip when she was just 7 months old due to an infection, Sinéad spent most of her young life in pain and looking for relief. At 14 years old a specialist doctor told her to “sit down and do nothing to stop the pain!” She didn’t listen and became a highly accomplished athlete instead!

Movement and Physical Therapy helped ease her aches and discomfort as well as helping her to remain positive, healthy and happy. So began her journey into Physical Therapy, Health, Coaching, Solo Travel and Wellness.

Sinéad’s passion is helping you to find what works best for your body and lifestyle. Whether you need injury advice, a fitness plan, life coaching, solo travel expertise or a complete physical and emotional overhaul, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

Solo Travel Mentor, expert help. Have you been thinking about taking a trip alone but are a little unsure of where to go, how to plan and budget? Perhaps you are feeling a little worried or nervous about going it alone? Solo travel is something that I find easy now, but it wasn’t always that way. I had my own doubts and was apprehensive but I am very glad I went anyway. Solo travel changed my outlook and appreciation for life for the better.

Healthy body healthy mind! Join me for a wide variety of classes including Yoga, Pilates, Yoga for Cyclists and Body Blitz.  All are physio and posture based, educational and functional. My aim is to teach you body awareness, improve your posture while challenging your body and having fun. Let me help you to look after your overall health and wellness through movement and activity. Increase your mobility, flexibility and strength while feeling great inside and out. Futureproof your body now for the years to come.

 

Classes are suitable for all genders and abilities. Private one to one sessions and rehab physio are also available.

I have been attending Yoga with Sinéad for nearly two years and I haven’t found a better class. As a complete beginner I was immediately made feel comfortable and was given extra attention where needed until I felt more confident. Classes are small, you are always made feel welcome and you can take them at your own pace. I was surprised at how quickly my flexibility and stamina developed. I would highly recommend yoga with Sinéad to anyone starting their yoga practise or anyone who wants a welcoming and friendly class to attend.

Sinéad is an excellent yoga instructor, highly competent and knowledgeable in her field. Her “Yoga for Cyclists” Monday evening class is an hour to focus on your body after a busy week and/or weekend. Sinéad starts by checking in with activities over the weekend, asking whether anyone has any specific issues or requests, which she will incorporate into the class. This individual focus continues throughout the class – Sinéad makes sure to help everyone with the poses and provides alternatives of varying levels of difficulty.
